The wait is finally over as the makers of Kalank have released the film’s title track after much anticipation. And it’s truly beautiful. The third song is a title song, the first two being Ghar more pardesiya and First class. The title track gives us a glimpse of Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt’s crackling chemistry. Composed by Pritam and written by Amitabh Bhattacharya, the song has been beautifully sung by Arijit Singh.
The song features Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha, Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt and has love as its theme. Talking about the song, Pritam told Bombay Times, “It has to be a bright and beautiful romantic number, which underlines the feeling one has when he or she starts loving someone intensely. It’s in the Indian spiritual space, something bordering on the Sufi.”
Set in the 1940s, the Dharma Productions' period drama hits the screens on April 17. It's directed by Abhishek Varman.
