Student of The Year 2 star Tara Sutaria, who will also be seen in Milap Zaveri’s Marjaavan, is now all set to romance Suniel Shetty’s son, Ahan Shetty, in her next. The duo will be seen in the Hindi remake of the Telugu film RX 100, helmed by Milan Luthria. RX 100 featured Kartikeya Gummakonda and Payal Rajput in the lead.
Talking about the film, director Milan Luthria said in an official statement, “The plot of the film is very intriguing. It is a love saga, which will leave the audience surprised. It's a stark love story, with both the leads having strong parts. I have seen Tara and Ahan perform together during the rehearsal workshops and they have immense chemistry. We're set to go now.”
The untitled film is currently in the pre-production stage and is expected to hit the floors soon. Reports further suggest that Ahan has been training heavily for his role in the film. The film’s producer, Sajid Nadiadwala, said, “We have found our leading lady and I must say that Tara is really a proficient actor. I feel they (Tara and Ahan) will make a romantic and an interesting pair. We shall begin shooting from June.”
The RX 100 remake will be produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and presented by Fox Star Studios. We hear the makers of the film have been travelling to Mussoorie, Dehradun and Hrishikesh to zero in on shoot locations.
