Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra’s latest release Kesari is about the Battle of Saragarhi. The film is directed by Anurag Singh and released last Thursday. In just a few days the film seems to be racing towards the prestigious Rs 100 crore club. On its opening day, the film earned Rs 21.06 crore. Then on Friday, it raked in Rs 16.75 crore. While on Saturday and Sunday it collected Rs 18.75 crore and Rs 21.51 crore respectively. The collections did not slow down on weekdays as well, as the film earned Rs 8.25 crore on Monday and Rs 7.17 crore yesterday, Tuesday, making the grand total a whopping Rs 93.49 crore.
With the pace at which the film’s collections are going, it is set to enter the Rs 100 crore club in a day or two. We congratulate team Kesari on their success.
