Shilpa has been a trailblazer in this new trend of teaming your long dress under a skirt so that it shows below the hem of the skirt. Just last week we saw her in an all-white look in which she sported the peekaboo trend. But it wasn’t the first time that she styled a skirt this way. She had already aced this trend last year but this year the cool style trick is making an appearance on a regular basis in her OOTDs, it seems. But hey, we ain’t complaining!
For a family lunch at Bastian, Shilpa chose an easy-breezy outfit from Johanna Ortiz. Celebrity stylist Mohit Rai brought together two different styles of the garments to make a cohesive look. The crisp white shirt dress was such a stark contrast to the fiery asymmetric skirt. Even with so many flouncy layers, the shirt dress was visible, especially when she walked.
The vibrant orange of the skirt was reflected on her strappy heels from H&M. With such a striking look, the accessories were kept simple with gold additions from Flowerchild By Shaheen Abbas. She also carried her classic quilted Chanel bag along to complete this chic ensemble.
