Cricket is a religion in India and spreading its wings across the global skies, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) started the Indian Premiere League in 2008. A round of auctions was held, teams from different parts of the country were formed and a super league was brought to life over a decade ago. But just like everything in India, even cricket feels incomplete without the mix of a little entertainment in it. This is where the razzle dazzle of Bollywood met cricket and the grand opening ceremonies were organized to kickstart the matches every year.
Starting from 2008, here’s listing down the highlights of the opening ceremonies of the Indian Premiere League in the last decade.
