Bride-to-be Cheryl Burke will soon be making her way down the aisle — but not without a bridal shower filled with food and friends first!
The Dancing With the Stars pro, 34, celebrated her impending nuptials to fiancé Matthew Lawrence with a special shower hosted by Burke’s maid of honor Leah Remini, 48, on Saturday.
The shower, which was hosted at Remini’s home, featured delicious food — including a rainbow sprinkle-filled cake — and Burke and her pals dressing up in homemade toilet paper “wedding gowns.”
“Words cannot fully express how thankful I am for you opening up your home to my family and friends today,” Burke wrote to Remini on Instagram. “My heart is overflowing with gratitude and appreciation. The fact that you said yes to being my Maid of Honor was enough, but you wanting to make everything perfect for me, means the world – I will never forget this special day for as long as I live.
“Countdown to the wedding day has officially begun and I cannot wait to have you by my side! I love you,” she finished.
Remini posted her own tribute to the bride, writing, “Looking forward to being part of your next chapter… to be continued… Thank you to all who came and celebrated her!”

Burke also paid tribute to her glam squad on her Instagram Story, thanking them for helping put together her look.
Actress Alessandra Torresani, 31, shared more photos of the event on her Instagram Stories, posting a sweet photo of Burke cutting her cake and of the group dressed up in the toilet paper dresses.
Burke previously weighed her outfit options on Instagram the day before the shower, asking fans and friends to choose between three different white dresses made by Romona Keveza. The dancer eventually opted for a strapless dress with a sweetheart neckline and a tulle skirt.
“Picking out looks for my bridal shower tomorrow! I can’t believe it’s officially the countdown to our wedding!” she wrote. “I’ve always loved @romonakaveza and I’m excited to play dress up in her beautiful creations!”

Burke previously revealed that her maid of honor would be Remini. “She said yes! #maidofhonor,” Burke wrote on Instagram in September. “So excited to have you be part of such a special time in our lives.”
She later posed with her bridal party, which included fellow Dancing With the Stars pro Kym Herjavec, in a photo shared to Instagram in January.
Lawrence, 39, popped the question in May 2018 on Burke’s 34th birthday with a special ring containing the same diamond her late father Steve used to propose to her mother Sherri.

“Matthew, with the help of his mother Donna, Cheryl’s mother Sherri and XIV Karats had the stone reset and added more diamonds to create the ring he proposed to Cheryl with,” her rep told PEOPLE at the time.

The couple first started dating in February 2007 after meeting the year prior through Lawrence’s brother Joey, who was a contestant on the third season of Dancing With the Stars.
They split a year later but rekindled their romance in early 2017.
“When we first dated, we were both young and immature, and I was so new to this world,” Burke told PEOPLE in September 2017. “Now we are both adults and feel balanced.”

After their engagement, the dancer gushed over the Boy Meets World actor, calling him “the first man I can say that I feel safe with.”
“He’s normal, he’s grounded, he’s got a huge heart. It’s hard to find,” she said during an interview on PeopleTV’s Chatter, adding that they “definitely want to do a summer wedding.”
