Lovers Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are collaborating for the first time ever in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. The two stars are phenomenal actors and they have a long string of films to prove that. Both Alia and Ranbir are effortless actors and that’s the reason why people are extremely eager to watch this couple create some magic on the big screen. Produced by Dharma Productions, Brahmastra is a trilogy whose first part will hit the theatres on December 20 this year. After the makers of the film revealed the logo of the film at the Kumbh Mela a few weeks back, the buzz around the film doubled and now some fresh details about Ranbir’s character have come to the forefront.
A source close to the film told a leading daily, “Ranbir plays a DJ who walks out of his house against his father's wishes. The story then traces his journey as he tries to fulfil his dreams and discovers his superpowers in the process. The film has some high octane action sequences. Ranbir trained in traditional Indian martial arts, including Kalaripayattu and Varma Kalai, before the film went on floors in 2017.”
