Fashion is what is given to us four times a year and style is what we do with it. For some, it comes naturally; others keep up with global trends to stay glamourous around the year. With ever changing trends that influence one’s taste regularly, every fashion fanatic needs someone to look up to. Exactly that is what our B-town’s best provide us with. Trailblazing across red carpets, events, parties and now the airport… the industry is filled with superstars who never stop giving us style inspirations. With so many appearances made last week, we list down the ones that we are going to pin up on the best looks’ board and the one that failed to impress.
Here are the five looks that we will dog-ear in our look book.
- Anushka Sharma
Styled by: Allia Al Rufai
Wearing: Toni Maticevski
Walking down the red carpet after a long time, the stunning Anushka Sharma opted for an all-black structured gown with smokey eyes and a middle parting sleek hairdo. Needless to say it was nice to see her make a chic appearance at an event and one that got heads turning was a cherry on the icing.

- Katrina Kaif
Styled by: Chandini Whabi
Wearing: Ester Abner
It’s not easy to pull off something that Padma Lakshmi has one walked in but if someone could, it’s none other than Katrina Kaif. Flaunting her curves in a gorgeous red gown, Katrina stayed true to her personal style and kept it simple yet sexy. The thigh-high slit, wavy hair, that scarlet lip and silver sandals added the oomph to her overall look.

- Preity Zinta
Styles by: Leepakshi Ellawadi
Wearing: Robert Abi Nader
One shoulder creations are so in and when Preity Zinta does it with such easy and style you can’t help but adore it. Ditching her cutesy pink down and red lips, Preity opted for a bolder look for a recent event. Sleek straight hair, fitting silhouettes and air-brushed make-up, all of this worked out to perfection for this diva.

- Sanya Mahotra
Styled by: Mohit Rai
Wearing: Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna
She’s got a fierce vibe about her and she channelled it well in this bossy pant suit for a recent event. All white with a hint of black, this look could easily go as Sanya’s best look till date. The tiered necklace and runway bun for those heavy curls was a good way to finish the look.

- Anushka Sharma
Styles by: Allia Al Rufai
Wearing: Dice Kayek
Yes, Anushka Sharma may not make a lot of public appearances, but when she does, she makes sure she’s the best dressed diva each time. Breaking the monotony of gowns and solid hues, Anushka made the most stylish appearance of the week in an abstract printed pant suit at an event. Her sleek pulled back hair, blush make-up and that fiery look, all made us go gaga over this look.

6. Sonakshi Sinha
Styled by: Mohit Rai
Wearing: Atelier Zuhra
She’s been one of the most followed stars because of her risk-taking style and the kind of power dressing she’s been into for a while. But despite her fierce sense of style, Sonakshi never misses to surprise us with newer trends and funkier outfits. Ditching the boss-lady look for a stunning electric blue creation, Sonakshi went delicate and extremely feminine for her recent appearance. The retro hairdo, minimum jewellery and hint of silver and grey on the eye and nail... all this made for a homerun look for this style icon.

From things we gushed over last week to thing we that failed to impress, here’s a list of the fashion misses of the week.
- Disha Patani
Styled by: Aastha Sharma
Wearing: Yousef Al Jasmi
We’re not going to deny that this look is too hot to handle and full points to Disha for pulling it off with such ease, but we can’t miss how dated this look it. Overdone and maybe a little event inappropriate, this sexy short dress in all shimmer is more party friendly than for a public event.

- Kiara Advani
Wearing: Shehlaa Khan
We love what Kiara wears everytime, but this one is just too hard to like. Nothing except for maybe the make-up works for the lady. The outfit is a no-no for not just her but literally anyone.

- Taapsee Pannu
Styled by: Devki B
Wearing: Leal Daccarett
Not only is this an over done look for the past couple of years, it’s a little mismatched for a style event. Going retro with curly hair, a white shirt and flared sequin pants, Tappsee did look trendy but we have seen this look too many times to like it anymore for an event of a big stature.

- Sunny Leone
Styled by: Hitendra Koapara
Wearing: Vlora & Kaltrina
This dress does nothing for the beautiful Sunny Leone and while holographic prints are making their way to the top of the trends’ list, this one is a bad choice for the lady. Also, the make-up and hair didn’t complement the silhouette of the gown.
