Alia Bhatt is one of the biggest superstars in the country. She managed to impress the audience and the critics with her last release Gully Boy and is currently occupied with the promotions of her next film Kalank. The Raazi actress was recently signed for SS Rajamouli's magnum opus titled RRR, that will be made on a whopping budget of Rs 350 crore. She will be paired opposite Ram Charan and her character is called Sita.
In an interview with a leading daily, the actress spoke about her prep for her South debut. She said, “I am prepping for it. It's tough, but I think I'll be good at it. I am having fun.” The actress also revealed she was super excited about working with SS Rajamouli. Alia said, “He was on my bucket list of directors. Not only because of Baahubali... but also because of his imagination. Right from Magadheera to Eega, these concepts are simply mind-blowing. He is truly an artiste and understands his audience, the people he is making the film for. His emotions and story are so powerful, likewise with RRR, he has a very powerful story to tell.”
RRR also stars Jr NTR, Ajay Devgn and Samuthirakani in key roles. It is a fictitious story set in the 1920s, based on two legendary freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharamaraju.
