Priyanka Chopra’s latest announcement, the wedding comedy film with Mindy Kaling is going to be shot in India as well. Reportedly, the team has started scouting for locations and it is believed that the film will be shot in The US as well as in India. The spots chosen in India are mainly Delhi and Rajasthan so far.
The film and its script revolves around an Indian wedding and the makers intent on exploring some unexplored parts of Delhi and Rajasthan. Both these places speak volumes of Indian flavours and cultures. Apparently, a luxury villa in Ranthambore also features on the list of shortlisted options. Presently, the team is busy working on the screenplay and once the script is locked, the team will set off for India to recce the locations in North India.
There have been many films already made on the subject and so the team has to pick out locations that are different. Depending on the progress of the film, it might go on floors by November this year.
Once Priyanka’s upcoming film with Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim, The Sky Is Pink releases in October, the actress will get busy with this project. After her own big fat wedding, guess it's time to watch Priyanka once again in a wedding setup soon.
