Justin Bieber is being slammed on social media after using Sean “Diddy” Combs’ tribute to his late ex Kim Porter to promote his new clothing line Drew House.
On Saturday, Diddy, 49, shared a throwback photo of himself and Porter, recounting a fond memory the former couple shared while they were together.
“I remember Kim flying to see me on the set of can’t nobody hold me down. She took like a 12 hour flight to LA and 3 hour ride to the desert. With no complaints. Was always ride or die. From day 1! I called her BONNIE AND I WAS CLYDE!” Diddy captioned the shot, which shows himself with his arms wrapped around Porter as the two stood in front of a white Rolls Royce.
“This picture will go down in history as the first time I said she was MINE!!!! AND THE FIRST TIME I TOLD HER I LOVE HER, little did I know I was her. Miss you BONNIE and will forever. Maaaan life is beautiful to have had these experiences. Love you baby.”

Porter was found dead in her home on Nov. 15. It was later revealed that she died of lobar pneumonia. She was 47.
On Sunday, Bieber, 25, shared the photo, writing, “#ddidyfordrewhouse @diddy KP YOU WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED FOR THE STUNNING WOAN YOU WERE INSIDE AND OUT.”
The post prompted a number of Bieber’s fans to criticize him for being “disrespectful.”
“Delete this sir he shared this picture in memory of his wife not for promo for the clothing line,” one user wrote in the comment section of Bieber’s post.
“Delete this he was morning about his girlfriend under the post. This is disrespectful,” another user expressed.

“Hope this gets taken down. Disrespectful to re-use a photo Diddy used on a memorial post to promote a brand,” a different person wrote.
Bieber later responded to the backlash, explaining he had no idea that the photo was a mourning post.
“Ur wrong. God knows my heart, I know them and their family don’t tell me I’m being disrespectful I have all the respect for both of them I didn’t realize it was a photo of him mourning KP but I totally respect that but I also respect how sick of a photo that is!” Bieber said.
“It’s allay to appreciate art photographs are art and he happens to be wearing an identical outfit of my clothing line and I thought that was really cool,” Bieber said of Diddy’s camel-colored ensemble which is similar to the hoodies and sweatpants sold on thehouseofdrew.com.
Bieber faced additional backlash on Monday after joking that he and wife Hailey Baldwin are expecting their first child.
The “Love Yourself” singer stirred social media into a frenzy when he shared an ultrasound photo on Instagram without a caption.
However, the model, 22, quickly clarified in the comments section, writing, “Very funny…”
But then, just minutes after he posted the ultrasound, Bieber shared a set of photos that showed Baldwin surrounded by medical professionals touching her stomach area. “If U thought it was April fools,” he wrote along with the three photos.

The singer went on to share a third photo — which was quickly liked by his wife — that showed the same ultrasound image, but with a puppy photoshopped in, seemingly confirming he was making a joke all along.
Many social media users were quick to point out, joking about pregnancy can be hurtful to many people who have struggled with conceiving or have lost their children.

“Of course Justin Bieber will think a pregnancy announcement would be funny on April fools. esp so when 1 in 7 women have had a miscarriage. not to mention those suffering from infertility,” wrote one Twitter user.
“I’ve never been mad at @justinbieber but today I’m disappointed in him for posting a fake pregnancy announcement,” added another. “Honestly, not a funny joke when millions of women are struggling with infertility and other issues of the sort. Sad, @justinbieber.”
Bieber has yet to address the backlash.
