It is known that Eid is the slot usually occupied by Salman Khan's releases and so it came as a bit of a surprise this time to everyone. According to latest reports, Akshay had discussed the release date of his Rohit Shetty directorial Sooryavanshi with Salman and that Salman was okay with it. However, later, Salman's Inshallah directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali was announced on the same date giving rise to murmurs.
Now that Katrina Kaif has joined the cast of Sooryavanshi opposite Akshay, it will be nice to see this face-off between her and Salman. It is interesting to know what she thinks of this potential box-office battle and regarding this. Katrina told a daily that Salman loves Akshay and Rohit (Shetty). He will always be supportive of her as far as work is concerned. She said that she doesn't think Salman will let Inshallah clash with Sooryavanshi. She said, “Salman loves Akshay, he loves Rohit. He will always be supportive of me in the workplace. So, I don't think he will let his film clash with Sooryavanshi,”
Presently, Katrina is busy gearing up for the release of Bharat opposite Salman, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.
