Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas seem to be enjoying marital bliss to the fullest. From family vacations in Miami to attending baby brother Franklin Jonas’ graduation, Priyanka Chopra has become a part of the Jonas family within just a few months. But it did not come easy to her. Talking about her instant connection with Nick Jonas, during the Women in the World Summit, Priyanka revealed, “I’ve known him for two years. I didn’t think that this is what it would’ve turned out to be, and that’s maybe that’s my fault, I judged a book by its cover.”
She also revealed how in the course of getting to know Nick better, she found out how mature he is for his age. She said, “I call him ‘Old Man Jonas.’ That’s my name for him, ‘OMJ' He’s such an old soul, extremely smart, so good for me because he grounds me so much. I’m a wild child, I do whatever I want whenever I want and he always supports me.”
Talking of how she balances work and her marriage, Priyanka said, “He gave me credit for what I had done, it was just mindblowing for me. No one had ever done that before,” and narrated an incident when she and Nick had to meet a few friends for dinner but she had a meeting to attend around the same time. She said she was hoping he will ask her to cancel the meeting, but instead he offered to take the friends out and wait for her to join them.
“He said ‘I will never be the one who will tell you to cancel work because I know how hard you’ve worked to be where you are. So if you could’ve cancelled it, you would’ve done it. I’ll take our friends out for dinner, we’ll wait for you, and you finish your meeting and come back,'” she smiled
