In a month from now, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand Ahuja will be celebrating their first marriage anniversary. The lovers tied the knot in a big fat Indian ceremony on May 8, 2018 and had the entire Bollywood joining them for the celebrations. Despite their hectic work schedules, Anand and Sonam have always manage to give each other quality time. Their social media PDA only makes us go aww each time.
Present at the 35th Annual session of the FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) yesterday, the actress opened up about gender equality and how husband Anand always makes sure to support her in whatever she does.
Sonam said in a statement, “In cinema world, I was not treated as an equal but treated as a woman. But I realised it soon that women should not compromise. But art is reflection of the society. After marriage, my husband is my cheerleader and and as a support he added my name in his middle name and has become Anand Sonam Ahuja,”
