Over the years, we have witnessed some inspirational stories of fans taking long journeys only to get a glimpse of their favourite celebrities but every once in a while, an incident takes place that makes one see the cons of being a public figure. One such mishap took place with Varun Dhawan.
A female fan was seen waiting outside the actor’s Mumbai residence for hours while he was out promoting his next film, Kalank. The lady kept doing the rounds of the place and when found out that Varun was back home, insisted on meeting him then and there. When refused to do so, the girl threatened to harm herself and then Varun’s girlfriend Natasha Dalal.
The security team outside Varun’s residence narrated the incident and said, "There was a female fan, who was doing the rounds of his house for a long time. Varun sir usually obliges their selfie requests, if he is available. She was waiting for a couple of hours. Sir came late and she was insisting that she meet him then and there. He was pretty tired from the day's work and wanted to rest. She refused to leave and got into a squabble. Initially, she said she will hurt herself. When she was still not able to get through to Varun sir, she threw a fit. She kept mumbling how she will harm Natasha ma'am."
They also added that Varun also makes sure to meet fans when he can but never have they seen someone get so aggressive. "It was alarming for us because usually, fans don't get so aggressive. We informed Varun sir, who panicked. She kept saying, 'I will kill Natasha.' After the woman refused to leave even after 45 minutes, we had to call the local police station,” added the team.
