Saand Ki Aankh – starring Bhumi Pednekar and Taapsee Pannu is one movie everyone seems really excited for! For one thing, the two young actresses are going to essay the roles of 60-something women in a story based on the life of two sharp shooters – Chandro Tomar and her sister-in-law Prakashi Tomar. Apart from this, we also got some more interesting updates about the film. A report on Pinkvilla revealed that Aamir Khan‘s sister Nikat Khan is going to make her debut in the movies with this film.
On being asked what her role in the film would be, here’s what a source had to say :
She plays a maharani in the film. It’s not a cameo or an appearance. Instead, it’s a full fledged role. Her character has some really important sequences.
The source also revealed that though not many people knew of her, when the makers met her, they all knew she was best suited for the role. With Aamir’s acting prowess known to one and all, we cannot wait to watch her in the film!
Saand Ki Aankh is produced by Anurag Kashyap and directed by Tushar Hiranandani. They recently released the poster from the film which got everyone talking. The movie is slated to release this Diwali. With such an interesting star cast, we cannot wait to watch this film!
