Ayushmann Khurrana, who has treated the audience with some power-packed performances throughout his career, will soon return to the big screen with his next project titled Article 15. Like the title suggest the film is based on the Article 15 of the Indian Constitution which prohibits discrimination on grounds of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth.
A report in a leading daily claims the teaser of the film will be releasing on on 27th May, which coincidentally also marks also marks the 5th anniversary of Badaun Rape case which had shook the entire nation. The film too deals with Badaun Rape case which is why the makers are considering to release the teaser on this date specifically.
With Article 15, the audience will witness Ayushmann in a cop avatar for the very first time. The film is directed by Anubhav Sinha, who last delivered the critically acclaimed Mulk which starred Rishi Kapoor and Taapsee Pannu in lead. The film also stars Isha Talwar, M Nassar, Manoj Pahwa, Sayani Gupta, Kumud Mishra and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub. Article 15 is bankrolled by Anubhav Sinha and Zee Studios.
