
Mission Mangal v/s Batla House
Release date – 15th August
Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu and Sonakshi Sinha will be seen together in Jagan Shakti’s Mission Mangal this Independence Day. The film tells the story of scientists at Indian Space Research Organisation who contributed to the Mars Orbiter Mission, which marked India's first interplanetary expedition. While Batla House directed by Nikhil Advani starring John Abraham, Nora Fatehi and Mrunal Thakur is an action thriller which revolves around the Batla House encounter case that took place on September 19, 2008. Akshay and John are extremely close friends and it will be rather exciting to watch them lock horns at the box-office.

Made in China v/s Chhichhore
Release date – 30th August
Directed by Mikhil Musale, Made in China stars Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy in the lead. The film is a romantic-comedy that circles around the life of a failed Gujarati business man who then gets a once in a lifetime business idea when he visits China. Chhichhore, on the other hand, has a huge star cast headlined by Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor. Nitesh Tiwari has directed the film and after the poster of the film was released by the makers, a lot of eagerness around the film built up. Both these films are from a similar genre and it will be fun to witness which one would come out victories in this clash at the movies.

Housefull 4 v/s Saand Ki Aankh
Release date - 25th October
The Housefull franchise is set to make the audience laugh out loud this year as they return with the fourth part of the film. Starring Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol, Reitesh Deshmukh, Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda and Pooja Hegde, the action-comedy has already been shot and is ready to release in October this year. Directed by Farhad Samji, this film is being waited for by many fans of the franchise as the previous parts of the film entertained them. But, Housefull 4 is not expected to get a single release. The film will clash with Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar’s Saand Ki Aankh. Directed by Tushar Hiranandani, the film has Taapee and Bhumi playing the parts of India’s oldest sharpshooters as they play 60-year-olds in the film.

Panipat v/s Pati, Patni Aur Woh
Release date – 6th December
A historical period drama starring Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt, Panipat will have director Ashutosh Gowariker coming back into action after a long break. Pati, Patni Aur Woh, on the other hand, will be a light-hearted romantic comedy with Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday playing crucial parts. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film is the remake of the 1978 hit film that was titled the same. One an intense drama and the other a comedy, which one will the audience opt for this December is what’s left to see.
