Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas had specially flown to India to attend Priyanka’s brother Sidharth Chopra’s roka with Ishittaa Kumar. Both the families even posted pictures from the ceremony. However, rumours of a delay in the marriage and later of it being called off started doing the rounds when PeeCee flew back to Los Angeles earlier than she was expected. More fuel was added to this fire when yesterday Ishitaa posted a picture of herself with the caption, “Cheers to new beginnings. With a goodbye kiss to beautiful endings.”
Soon after her mother and father commented on the picture. While her mother wrote, “Close the old book and write a new story.” Her father said, “We are with you, Feel the expanse of the universe and be the star you were born to be.” Well, this is definitely a nudge when it comes to making things clear about an end of a bond.
Priyanka Chopra and Sidharth Chopra also stopped following Ishitta Kumar on social media making it clear that all is not well between the two families. Well, we hope an official statement by the people in question is released soon.
