Transforming yourself physically for your on-screen characters has become a norm in Bollywood. The latest actor who underwent some major body transformation was Saif Ali Khan for his role in Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior. He put on some kilos to suit his character in the film.
After wrapping up the shoot of Taanaji, Saif is now gearing up for his next, Jawaani Jaaneman. He will reportedly start shooting for the film in London by mid-June for a 45-day schedule. But before that we hear, Saif will start prepping for his look in Jawaani Jaaneman. He will be shedding all the weight and those muscles he’d built for Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior in order to look bulked up and muscular in the period drama.

n addition to this, rumours suggest that Saif also took sword fighting lessons and had to ride a horse for some challenging action sequences in the film. But now, Saif will be sporting a leaner look. Reportedly, Saif will be going on a special diet to achieve a leaner look. He will also train for two hours each day. He’s got limited time before he leaves for the London shoot and so he’s putting in extra hours of work out to suit his role of a middle-aged man.
Jawaani Jaaneman will be produced under Saif’s home banner Black Knight Films. Meanwhile, Sacred Games 2 will release in August and Navdeep Singh directorial by the end of this year. Taanaji is slated to hit the screens by early 2020.
