The year 2018 will always be a special year for Sonam Kapoor as she tied the knot with entrepreneur sweetheart Anand Ahuja. Yesterday, the couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary and we cannot be more excited for them.
Sonam recently spoke about the changes in her life since she got married. Talking of maintaining a balance between work in Mumbai and living in London, she said, "After my wedding, I put on weight, my skin's gone bad, I have really bad dark circles and I want all the girls to know that it's okay."
She added, “In India, there is so much pressure on girls... Whether it's about 'who you're getting married to', 'what is his education', 'why is your skin looking like that', 'don't go to sunny places you will become dark', 'why have you cut your hair', don't go out so much, don't go out drinking...”
Sonam and Anand got married on May 8. To mark her first wedding anniversary, Sonam shared an adorable post on social media. She also shared a few lovely moments from her wedding and wrote, ‘My Darling @anandahuja no one makes me feel as loved and cherished as you do. The kind of confidence and fulfillment I get from our relationship is unprecedented. I drowned myself in stories and lived in my dreams my whole life, and you came into my life and pulled me into a reality which was actually as beautiful as the best fairytale ever. You are, my ever after. I love you sweetheart happy anniversary.’
