It’s 2019 and the world is a free place for love and sexuality. But even though the law decriminalises homosexuality, it seems too hard for a chunk of the population to digest it. Time and again, people who have come out, proud with their sexual orientation have been mocked and shut down on social media by the likes of some regressive trolls. But not anymore.
Karan Johar is rightfully schooling these men who sit behind screens and pass inappropriate comments about a someone’s personal life. Only yesterday, a man tweeted, "Karan johar k life pe ek movie banani chahiye. KARAN JOHAR: the gay.”
As regressive as the comment is, Karan Johar did not hold back and retweeted the man’s post with the most befitting reply ever. Karan wrote, "You absolutely original genius! Where have you been hiding all this while??? Thank you for existing and emerging as the most prolific voice on Twitter today!!!"
