After a slight dip on Friday because of a working day, Mission Mangal has bounced back with its Saturday collections. Adding Rs. 23.58 crores to its big total, the film has now collected Rs. 70.02 in just three days.
The film is doing exceptionally good in multiplexes and the occupancy rate of the show remains high across the nation. With over Rs. 70 crores already in their kitty, Mission Mangal is looking at a collection just short of Rs. 100 crores by the end of Sunday night.
The film released on Independence Day with a massive footfall from the very first show. Starring Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Kriti Kulhari and Nithya Menen in the lead roles, Mission Mangal is the story of how the first Mars Orbiter from India was launched into space. The storyline and star cast have been a big reason for pulling the crowds and will continue to give a boost to the film at the ticket counter.
