Kartik Aaryan's last release Pati Patni Aur Woh did well at the box-office and now the actor has started working on Dostana 2 which also stars Janhvi Kapoor and debutant Lakshya. Kartik's first release in 2020 will be Imtiaz Ali's Aajkal alongside Sara Ali Khan. The film hits the theatres on Valentine's day 2020 and there is a strong buzz around the film already because of Sara and Kartik's crackling chemistry in the pictures that have been put on social media from the shooting schedules.
However, latest reports around Kartik are that the actor might collaborate with Imtiaz Ali again. According to the reports, the star has been roped in for Imtiaz's next project which is apparently a biopic. However, this time he will only be producing the film which is based on the life of a Punjabi singer Amar Singh Chamkila. If sources are to be believed, the film will be directed by his brother Sajid Ali who directed Laila Majnu last year. Well, fingers crossed!
