The posters of Bharat are raising our curiosity levels to watch the film and how! Yesterday, we saw Salman Khan in an older avatar and today he’s seen as a young man on the poster that was released this morning.
Also what caught our attention is Disha Patani, hanging behind Salman looking gorgeous. She plays a Trapeze artist in Bharat performing some daredevil stunts in a circus, straight out of the ‘60s era. We can’t wait to see more of what Disha has to offer in the film in this glam avatar. Reportedly, she will be seen in a romantic part with Salman in the story and the two have a hot song sequence set on the backdrop of this circus.
Salman posted the poster and captioned it, ‘Jawaani humari Jaaneman thi!’
Bharat is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. It is said to be inspired from a Korean film, Ode To My Father which is a tale of a man and a nation. Bharat tells the story of a family’s arduous journey to freedom at the cusp of India’s birth as an independent nation. Although, this freedom comes at a cost. Bharat is an eight-year-old boy who makes a promise to his father that he will keep his family together regardless of what the circumstances are. And he lives up to this promise for the next 60 years despite each decade throwing all sorts of challenges at him. His resilience, loyalty and a never dying spirit replicate the fundamental qualities of our nation.
