Kalank stars Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha, Madhuri Dixit Nene and Sanjay Dutt in crucial roles. With such a power-packed cast, it was already predicted that it would garner a lot of attention when its release would be near. And now with just one day left for the release, the cast of the film is still going all out to promote the film and reach as many people as possible. Kalank was first supposed to release on April 19 but then the date was shifted to April 17 as it is a holiday and the makers felt it was the correct decision to cash in on that.
Well, we are yet to see the kind of impact this decision will actually create on the business of the film, but early predictions by trade analysts suggest that the film might earn close to Rs 18-20 crores as there has been very few big releases in the past few weeks and the audience is eager to catch a film of this level which has been produced by Dharma Productions and directed by Abhishek Varman.
