Now that we are one day away from the release of Varun Dhawan’s upcoming period drama – Kalank, the excitement among fans is soaring high. The actor has been busy promoting the film since the last couple of weeks and was often asked about his experience of working with Alia Bhatt for the fourth time and love of his life Natasha Dalal.
The actor has been official about his relationship with Natasha for a long time and the two are often snapped on their date outings. Talking about the same in a recent interview during Kalank promotions, Varun said, “Everyone knows I have a girlfriend. I have been in love for a very long time with Natasha. So sometimes when people use that and make up stuff then I don't appreciate it. I feel you know, that is my thing and something that people should respect. But with social media, you can't tell people where to draw the line. We can never say that,”
The actor even got candid about his wedding plans in his recent interview with Filmfare where he shared that the wedding is not happening anytime soon. Varun even stated that girlfriend Natasha shares a great bond with his family. He told, “It’s not going to happen this year. I’m not saying I won’t get married but it’s not this soon. If I’m doing all these movies, I need to find the right time for that. Natasha and I went to school together. So, she knows my parents since ages. She’s been attending functions with my parents before also but it wasn’t photographed then. She’s my rock, she’s my anchor. She’s the stabilising factor in my life. It’s pretty much like family.”
Let’s hope that the actor makes his big wedding announcement sometime soon. Varun Dhawan will be next seen in Dharma Productions’ Kalank. The film hits the screens tomorrow, i.e. April 17.
