Ever since the news of Varun Dhawan starring in the remake of Govinda’s Coolie No.1 broke, fans obviously got pretty excited about the project. While we are already aware of the fact that Varun Dhawan will be romancing Sara Ali Khan and the film will be directed by father David Dhawan, who also helmed the original one, we have got some interesting update about the project which will definitely leave you excited.
A report in a leading daily claims that on April 24, Varun Dhawan’s birthday, the entire family and Varun Dhawan’s lady love Natasha Dalal will be hosting a special event where they will announce the project. Just like they did with Judwaa 2, the makers will recreate two iconic songs from the original - Main Toh Raste Se Ja Raha Tha and Husn Hai Suhana. Interestingly, they don’t plan on remixing these songs which will help preserve the charm of the original.
Varun Dhawan is currently busy with the promotions of his big-budget film Kalank, which is set to hit the screens tomorrow. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha.
