After the release of RAW, John Abraham immediately went on to shoot for Aneez Bazmee’s comedy, Pagalpanti. The action star will be seen doing a comedy Anil Kapoor after Welcome Back which was a 2015 release. Pagalpanti will also feature Arshad Warsi, Saurabh Shukla, Pulkit Samrat, Ileana D'Cruz and Urvashi Rautela. Earlier, the film was scheduled to release on December 6 but is now preponed to hit the screens on November 22, this year.
Interestingly, even before the release of this comic caper, the makers are planning to turn it into a franchise and are considering a sequel to the film. The team has started work on a draft of the script for the same.
Kumar Mangat, who is producing Pagalpanti with Abhishek Pathak and Bhushan Kumar, confirmed the news and told a daily that it is going to be a big franchise and his team has started work on the script for part two. He also said that John was good in a comic role in Anees Bazmee’s Welcome Back and this time they also have Arshad Warsi, Anil Kapoor and Saurabh Shukla on to up the comic game.
Mangat also revealed that the recently concluded fifty-eight-day London schedule of the film was the biggest shoot for an Indian film in the Queen’s City. Now, they are just left with a couple of songs to be shot.
Reportedly, one of the songs is a fun one for which the entire cast will reunite for a week-long shoot. It is an original song with two hundred backup dancers. The track is composed by Yo Yo Honey Singh while Ganesh Acharya has done the choreography
