After giving us blockbuster hit Simmba starring Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan, director Rohit Shetty is all set to surprise the audience with his next – Sooryavanshi. The film brings back the sizzling on-screen pairing of Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif after a long period of time. Speaking of the film, the latest we hear that Sooryavanshi is all set to go on floors in Mumbai soon.
According to a Mumbai Mirror report, Akshay and Katrina will begin the first schedule of the film in Mumbai, May 6 onwards and will be continuing the shoot for next 10-12 days at some real locations. The daily was quoted as, “The set of a house has been designed at Mehboob studio wherein the couple will film some romantic scenes.”
Post wrapping up the first schedule of Sooryavanshi in Mumbai, film’s star cast and crew will head to Bangkok for the next schedule. The report further stated, “Rohit Shetty will be canning a larger than life introductory scene with Akshay at some landmark locations in Bangkok and Katrina is unlikely to be part of this shoot,”
Set in the 1990s, the action-drama will trace Akshay’s journey of becoming a Sooryavanshi. Excitingly, after wrapping up the Mumbai and Bangkok schedule, Rohit Shetty will head to Goa for the next schedule. We hear that the filmmaker will be shooting major action sequences for the film in Goa.
