Avengers: Endgame is showing no signs of slowing down as it continues its dream run not only in India but also in the international market. The superhero extravaganza released in India on April 26 2019 and fans of the series flocked to theatres to watch their favourite superhero squad battle it out with Thanos. The film picks off right from where it left off in Infinity War, with the Avengers trying to turn things around after Thanos wiped out half of earth’s population with a snap.
The film collected Rs. 28.50 crore on Wednesday, taking the total collections of the film to Rs. 240 crore. And today on its 6th day itself, it has crossed the magical Rs. 250 crore mark. By the end of week one, the film would have made more than Rs. 260 crores, a historic achievement to say the least. Just to put some things in to perspective, India’s highest grossing film of 2019, URI: The Surgical Strike was able to collect Rs. 240 crore during its lifetime at the box-office. Endgame has become biggest hit in just 6 days.
