Sidharth Malhotra will soon star with Kiara Advani in the biopic of Kargil Hero Vikram Batra titled Shershaah. Vikram Batra martyred at the age of 24 while fighting for India in the Kargil war. After that, Vikram Batra was posthumously also awarded Param Vir Chakra on 15 August 1999. The actor took to his official Instagram handle to share the poster of the film.
In an interview with a leading daily, Sidharth also revealed that the project was extreme close to his hearth. He said, “It will involve a lot of weaponry. I'm obsessed with weapons. My father had got me a pellet gun, the kind that was used in Home Alone (1990), and I was obsessed with that. Before Shershaah, Sidharth will be seen in Jabariya Jodi and Marjaavan. He will be reunited with his Hasee Toh Phasee co-star in Jabariya Jodi, and will star alongside Riteish Dheshmukh and Tara Sutaria in the Milap Zaveri’s Marjaavan. Kiara Advani will next be seen in Kabir Singh, which is the Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy, co-starring Shahid Kapoor.
