The Ranaut sisters never go out of news. Be it talking about films or calling out people, Kangana and Rangoli never back down and thus become the centre of various controversies. The newest controversial feather in their hat was Rangoli talking about how Mahesh Bhatt had thrown a slipper at her during the premiere of Woh Lamhe. She even pulled Alia in the mess and when she refused to comment and called her out for not supporting women.

Breaking his silence on the matter, Mahesh Bhatt spoke to a leading daily and said, “She is a bachchi. She started her journey with us. Just because her relative (Rangoli) is attacking me, I won’t comment. Our upbringing and culture teach us that we should not raise a finger on our children. So saying anything against our children won’t be possible. My upbringing stops me to do so… Till I die, I will never ever say anything against our child because it is against my upbringing, it is against my nature. If abusing me serves your purpose (Aapki dukaan chalti hai), then good I don’t mind. But I won’t speak ill about my junior, our women and children. My morals, my nature, my belief stops me from doing that.”

Mahesh Bhatt handled the situation quite rationally and put an end to what could have been a rally of comments.
