Last month when maverick filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali announced his next film, Inshaallah, with Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt in the lead, it came as a big casting coup. Salman and Alia's fans were extremely excited but there was a large group on social media who was not too happy with this particular casting.

They started criticising SLB's casting pointing out the 26 year age difference between the lead cast. No one from the team felt the need of responding to such criticism. However, when Alia was out promoting her next release, Kalank, she was questioned about this particular issue. The actress who is known for her bold choices on the big screen, decided to address the issue and here's what she had to say - "I didn't get any criticism. I think I got a lot of excitement. I think speculation is also a form of excitement in a way and why shouldn't there be speculation. There should be and at least I'm not bothered by that and I don't think Salman and Bhansali sir are bothered. I think this is a filmmaker who has given very good films, he is someone who we all are very fond of and I think we should just trust him with his vision." We sure are impressed with Alia’s reaction to this issue.
Meanwhile, superstar Salman Khan is currently busy shooting for the the third part of the much awaited Dabangg franchise. Alia on the other hand, is busy with the promotions of Dharma productions multi starrer Kalank, where she will be seen with Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur.
