The teaser of Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh has become the talk of the town. Shahid Kapoor is shown as a rowdy medical student with anger issues who turns to alcohol and drugs after losing the girl he loves. While fans are going gaga over Shahid Kapoor in the short glimpse of the film, it seems that the actor has got another fan in the list and it is none other than the Southern superstar Prabhas.
According to a report in a leading daily, Hair Stylist Hakim Aalim made Prabhas speak to Shahid over a call. Hakim said, “I was in Hyderabad shooting for Saaho with Prabhas, and the teaser of Kabir Singh had just launched online. Prabhas checked it out and loved it. Even his team members, who have enjoyed Arjun Reddy, felt that Shahid looked brilliant.”
He further added, “Seeing Prabhas’ reaction to the promo, I called up Shahid and handed him the phone. The former praised him and said that Kabir Singh looks even better than the original. Both of them chatted for good seven-odd minutes.”
Kabir Singh is the Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy, where Vijay Devarakonda played the titular role and Shalini Pandey played the female lead.
