
Famously known as Bollywood’s most famous stunt and action choreographer, Veeru Devgan passed away today. Born in Amritsar, Veeru Devgan choreographed fight and action scenes for over 80 Hindi films including Lal Baadshah (1999), Phool Aur Kaante (1991), Mr India (1987), and Himmatwala (1983) among various others. He even acted in three films and worked as a director on Hindustan Ki Kasam (1999).

A source close to the family informs Filmfare that Veeru Devgan had not been keeping well for a while now. Old age and poor health made his health condition worse. The family is in deep shock with his sudden demise and friends and family members are providing all support to Ajay and Kajol.
Releasing an official statement, the family said, "With profound grief and sorrow, we regret to inform that Mr.Veeru Devgan, Veteran Action Director, and Father of Ajay Devgn passed away this Morning. Funeral Will be Held at Vile Parle West Crematorium today at 6:00 pm on 27th May 2019."
