Kabir Singh is the Hindi remake of the Telugu hit Arjun Reddy, which featured Vijay Devarakonda as the lead. In the Hindi version, directed by Sandeep Vanga, we will see Bollywood hottie Shahid Kapoor play the part. Kabir Singh stars Kiara Advani as the female lead. The film will have Shahid playing the part of a wrecked lover, whose ex-girlfriend gets married to someone else. The teaser of the film has already created a mega buzz and the audience can’t wait to watch Shahid in this avatar.
The team shot for the film in New Delhi. While Shahid was there he interacted with a lot of college students to get his character right. Talking about how those students helped Shahid, a source told a leading daily, "Shahid spoke to many students from a Delhi college and since the look was unpolished, he was keen on using clothes from their actual wardrobe to make it more believable.”
Kabir Singh will hit the theatres on June 21.
